Getting started with DNO Renewables

A five minute walkthrough of how we handle DNO applications for you, from first submission to approval.

What we do

DNO Renewables is a managed service. You submit the details of an installation and our team handles the DNO paperwork, chasing, and RFI responses on your behalf.

Your first application

  1. Click Start an application on the homepage or dashboard.
  2. Fill in the installer, customer, and site details.
  3. Upload the LOA (or ask us to generate one for signing).
  4. Upload or ask us to create the SLD.
  5. Submit. You'll see a confirmation and get email updates as the application moves through the DNO.

What happens next

You'll see the application on your dashboard with a live status. Our team submits to the DNO, chases on our standard cadence, and handles any information requests.

We don't quote fixed timescales because DNO turnaround varies by DNO, site, and time of year. If you need a rough steer for a particular job, ask us on the application thread.
