What we need
The information that becomes more important as the project grows.
For larger connections, the application becomes more involved. This is the sort of information we typically compile with your team.
- Required capacity in kVA / MVA
- Maximum demand
- Load profile (where known)
- Phasing (single, three-phase, HV)
- Site plans and boundary
- Proposed meter position
- Equipment schedule / key loads
- EV / heat pump / process loads
- On-site generation (if any)
- Target completion date
- Land ownership / Letter of Authority
Capacity increases
Already connected — but the existing supply isn't enough?
If your business is growing, electrifying or installing new equipment, your existing connection may no longer provide sufficient capacity. Common triggers include new manufacturing equipment, EV fleet charging, heat pumps, electric boilers, additional tenant loads and process expansion.
The application becomes: "We currently have X capacity. We need Y." The DNO then assesses whether the existing connection can accommodate the increase and what works are required. We manage that end-to-end.
